Testimonials – Making Dreams Come True One Game at a Time
Julia (Age 11)
Growing up softball and baseball have been two of my all time favorite sports to watch, growing up a softball player played a huge role in it, however I grew up yelling at the tv, cheering on the Red Sox. My dream as a little girl was to see them play in real life, not just on the tv. We came across EB and Jonny’s page where they made it possible for young kids to see different teams play, and I decided to message them. I never thought I had a shot at getting the tickets, because I was just a little girl with a big dream to see my favorite team play. I got a message back about a week later, telling me to have my parents call them. I was then told I was going to a Red Sox game. My dream was coming true! They sent me to see the Red Sox, and to make it better, I was right behind home plate. For that experience I am eternally grateful, and I will never forget my first time at Fenway Park. Little did I know EB would eventually coach me in high school, and him and Jonny were still best friends, making things happen, as always.

I was the lucky winner of the Celtics tickets raffle, and won two seats to the Celtics basketball game with my brother-in-law Richie . The seats happened to be behind the hoop, which was incredible! Richie and I had a blast! We got to see all the greatest dunks nice and close! I would like to thank Eric Berry, Johnny Allen and The Pizza Man for putting on such a great raffle for all of us Celtics fans. Clearly both of these people and the restaurant are great people who respect the public.
During the game the Boston Celtics won by only 9 points! Granted the Pacers were not an easy opponent, as Paul George had 37 points against the Celtics. Also when all the cheerleaders ran out onto the court and shot T-shirts everywhere there were 3 that were within only about 10 seats, and it was incredible!
I would also like to point out how much fun I had with Richie. He somehow made the 3 hour drive feel like 10 minutes! Also he would always be positive and happy, which I understand as we were at an NBA game. He got me soda and popcorn and even a big huge pretzel! We had an absolute blast at the game.
Once more I would like to thank Eric Berry, Johnny Allen and The Pizza Man restaurant for allowing me to feel the excitement of my first NBA basketball game. I hope other kids can have this opportunity as it is something I will never forget.
Julia, Age 11
My name is Julia, and I am part of St. Johnsbury Baseball and Softball, where I play in Little League for the Athletics. I have always dreamed of going to Fenway Park to see the Boston Red Sox—my favorite team! For years, I begged my parents to get tickets, but we just couldn’t make it happen.
When I found out about EB and Johnny’s Ticket to the Game, I was so excited. The idea that I might actually get to see the Red Sox play in person, not just on TV, felt unreal. And then it happened—I got tickets to Fenway Park!
Walking into the stadium, seeing the field, and hearing the crowd was everything I had imagined and more. It was the best day of my life! The energy, the atmosphere, and the chance to watch my favorite team play right in front of me was absolutely incredible.
